Guten Tag!

Hallo Alles!

We made it . . . its absolutely gorgeous. Much like Wisconsin. The city homes (or villas) are close together and those that live in the city also have a garden home where they spend weekends and holidays. We had a slight change in our schedule and due to scheduling conflicts we spent Wednesday night in an artist town in an old converted warehouse with a Paccaso motif . . . yes, Kent I took lots of pictures for you! Last night and tonight were staying the summer PALACE of Queen Luise. Yes, an actual palace with gardens and fountains!! Were near where my family came from so I got a feel for what their villages might have looked like. What a wonderful way to celebrate my 50th . . . a birthday fit for a queen (aka ME). We stopped in Cologne and lite candles for all our loved ones in the cathedral and have spent the last couple of days touring the palaces of the Prussian royalty. Ive already used up all my film and weve got another week to go. Sorry about the lack of punctuation, this a european keyboard and at 5 euros a half hour I dont want to waste time figuring it out.
